I am saddened with Richard's passing but ever glad to have known him. My first memory is from the Christian Service Brigade and the meetings at the Homer Baptist Church. Then there were the camping trips to various places around the state. (Even those in Winter!) Especially memorable was the canoe trips in the Adirondacks. We had fun, we learned skills of the outdoors, we sang and we read the scriptures.I praise the Lord for our times together.

We have good memories of Rich and Jan whom we met in our Anniversary group in April each year. Rich was excited to share his experiences with us and always seemed able to be thankful for God's presence in his life. We really enjoyed visiting with them. These last few years it was hard to see the changes in Rich after Jan died but Whenever I visited him he was always to ready to pray and talk about the grace of Jesus.We will miss him and his sweet spirit. Our deepest sympathies to his family.
