Thomas A. Biase

Thomas A. Biase, 55, died suddenly at his home in Clifton Springs on Monday, August 22, 2016.

Tom was born December 27, 1960, a son of the late G. Robert and Sarah Shirley McDonald Biase and was a 1979 graduate of Homer High School.

He was currently employed as a driver for Casella Waste Management.

He loved to golf, fish, build model airplanes; was a collector of many things and was a history buff. He was a master of invention and could fix anything.  

Surviving is his wife, Paula Biase of Clifton Springs; his mother, Shirley Biase of Homer; a daughter, Ashley Biase of Cortland; two step-daughters, Jen Fazio and Ellen Benson; two sisters, Kathy Biase of Gardnerville, NV; and Barbara Biase of Homer. Also surviving are a niece and nephew, Holly and Avery of Nevada; and he will also be sadly missed by his sidekick, Chance. 

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home, 5016 N. Main St., Homer.

Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 p.m. until the time of the services.

Memorial contributions in Tom’s memory may be directed to the SPCA or a local veteran organization in your community.
