Ruth N. Riehlman, 89, of Maxson Rd., Homer, passed away on October 1, 2020.
Ruth was born May 29, 1931 in Rochester, a daughter of the late Willis and Alpha Blankshine Newman.
She was employed for more than 20 years at Victor Kraut and later Comstock Foods.
She enjoyed painting, working in her flower gardens and watching the birds.
Surviving are her children, K. Stephen (Connie Burdett) Riehlman; Elaine (John) Collins; David (Lisa) Riehlman; Douglas (Martsje Van der Schaaf) Riehlman and Diane (Derek) Seager; her grandchildren, Angela (Ryan) Gustafson; Andy (Taryn) Seager; Leanne (Jordan) Pagano; Michael Collins; Timothy Riehlman; Mike Riehlman; Joshua (Crystal) Riehlman; and Ben (Brenda) Riehlman; great grandchildren, Lilly (Skyler) Lyons, Gavin Beyea, Ewan and Lonan Middleton; Charlotte and Eliza Pagano; Kaleb, Blake, Lucas and Adelyn Riehlman. Her great-great grandchildren, Orrin and Sylvie Lyons; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Kermit A. Riehlman in 2014; her siblings, Betty Newman; Lois (Leo) Johnson; W. Robert (Jane) and Roger (Jackie) Newman and a daughter-in-law, Loretta Riehlman.
In keeping with Ruth’s wishes, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
