Roselea M. Clark, 84, a lifetime resident of Spafford, passed away unexpectedly on January 5, 2026.
Rose was born November 22, 1941 in Cortland, a daughter of the late John and Gladys Case, Sr.
She was employed for several years at Wilson Sporting Goods.
She was a life member of the Spafford Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and was instrumental in the formation of the Spafford Food Pantry.
Rose was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who always put the needs of others before her own. She enjoyed camping and sewing dresses for her granddaughters.
Surviving are her five children, Pansy (Fred) Kennedy of Cayuga; James (Vicki) Clark of Homer; Violet (Randy) Stevens of Freeville; Andrew Clark of Spafford; and Lisa Towers of Lodi; fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-four great-grandchildren; a sister, Sandra Hewes of Cortland; a brother, John Case of Rochester and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Merrill W. Clark on August 11, 2025; an infant son, Merrill Jay Clark; a sister, Olia Gunn and a great granddaughter, Lilith Towers.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home, 5016 U.S. Route 11, Homer. Graveside services in Spafford Cemetery will be delayed until spring.
