Roger Lee Williams, 69, of Rice Road, Homer, passed away while under the care of Hospice and his loving family on July 29, 2023.
A lifelong area resident, he was born November 16, 1953, a son of the late Herbert and Betty Page Williams.
Roger retired in 2019 after 16 years of service with Kinsella Quarries in Fayetteville. He had previously worked for AGWAY and for several local farms in the area.
He enjoyed camping, his 1959 GMC truck and anything to do with his granddaughters activities.
Surviving is his wife, Joanne Gaines Williams; his children, Chad of Homer; Jodi (Kris) Terwilliger of McGraw; Nick (Lindsay) Williams of Otego; and Logan (Deanna) Williams of Cortland; two granddaughters, Leah and Paige Terwilliger, who were the light of his life; his siblings, Al (Bea) Williams and Kurt (Cheryl) Williams of McGraw; Rita O’Mara of Cortland and Steve Williams of Syracuse, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In keeping with Roger’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
