Robert F. Potter, Jr., 34, of Locke and formerly of Tully, passed away on February 18, 2024 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A lifelong area resident, he was born January 6, 1990, a son of the late Robert F. Potter, Sr. and Jonelle Peryea Potter.
Rob loved to snowmobile. He was an excellent mechanic, who could fix most anything. He enjoyed his work as a welder and fabricator at Homer Iron Works.
Surviving is his mother, Jonelle Potter and her fiancée, Edwin Morgan; his sister, Laura (Nathan) Brown of Brewerton; brother, Jacob Ortlieb (Valerie Babino) of Deltona, FL; two nieces, Gabrielle and Nora Brown and a nephew, Hank Brown. Also surviving are his aunts and uncles, Daniel (Nancy) Peryea of Syracuse; Karen (Harrison) Riedl of South Onondaga; Joseph (Marie) Peryea of North Carolina; Donna Benjamin of Cicero; Patrick Peryea (Melody Barrington) of Syracuse, Michele Peryea of Liverpool, several cousins, his extended family on the Morgan side and countless friends.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his grandmother, Joyce Maiorano and an uncle, Charles Peryea, Jr.
