Richard M. Smith, Sr.

Richard M. Smith, Sr., 59, of Marybelle Rd., Tully, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 14, 2019.

Born June 27, 1960 to Raymond Smith and Imogene Hitchcock, he was a lifelong area resident.

Richard enjoyed spending time with his sons, whether fishing, hunting, barbecuing chicken or enjoying a cold beer. 

Surviving are his two sons, William I. Smith (Mary Kessler) of Homer and Richard M. Smith, Jr. of Little York, his father, Raymond Smith of Cortland; his siblings, Geri Smith, Ray Smith, Nikki Williams, Penney Schott, Donna (Ben) Moya and Kelly Edwards. Also surviving is Debbie Tefft; his grandchildren, Marissa Smith, Izabella Smith, Emily Smith, Arielle Hatton-oralls, Jonathan Hatton-oralls, Jaden Hatton-oralls and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A time of gathering will be held on Monday, July 22, 2010 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home, 5016 US Route 11, Homer.
