Philip James Reitano, of East Homer-Baltimore Road, Homer, passed away on February 10, 2025 at the age of 86.
He was born November 9, 1938, a son of the late James and Arlene Squire Reitano.
Phil was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army, serving from 1962-1964.
He was retired from the former Beckman Instruments, where he worked as a field service engineer.
Phil was an avid golfer and a member for more than 50 years of Hill N Dale Country Club in Tully, where he enjoyed the comradery of his many friends, often playing in three leagues.
Surviving is his loving wife of 64 years, Leilani Dorman Reitano; his son, James Reitano; two grandchildren and his sister, Jean McCarthy.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Brian Reitano.
In keeping with Phil’s wishes, there will be no formal services, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions in Mr. Reitano’s name may be directed to the Hill N Dale Golf Course, 6402 State Route 80, Tully, NY 13159.
