Patrick De Lucia Obituary

Patrick J. De Lucia, 53, formerly of Homer, passed away on August 3, 2021, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born July 13, 1968 in Binghamton, a son of Laurence ‘Larry’ and Kay Keech De Lucia. Pat was a veteran of the United States Navy serving from 1986 – 1988.

Locally, he had worked at numerous lumber companies, most recently at Gutchess Lumber. He was currently employed by CHR Hansen Biotechnology in Madison, WI.

He was an avid outdoorsman, especially hunting and fishing and his greatest joy was sharing that passion with his children. He loved to share stories of Skye and Ronan’s successes in the woods and on the water but would also let you know he was still the ‘Master’.

Surviving is his wife, Denise C. Rogers De Lucia; his children, Skye De Lucia (Tony) of Georgia and Ronan De Lucia of Homer; his siblings, best friends and at times partners in crime, Marty (Amy) De Lucia of Rochester; Dan (Kathy) De Lucia of Dryden; David (Shawn) De Lucia of Georgia and Jennifer De Lucia (Andy Johnson) of Louisiana; his mother, Kay De Lucia of Dryden and Florida; mother-in-law, Carol Rogers; brothers- in-laws, Brian (Michelle) Rogers of Maryland and Terry (Kristen) Rogers of Moravia; several nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends he had made throughout his life.

Pat was predeceased by his father, Larry De Lucia.
