Mary L. Bramhall

Mary L. Bramhall, 90, of Route 11, Homer passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023 in the Cortland Regional Nursing Facility.

She was born February 6, 1933 in Kennebunk, Maine, a daughter of the late Charles M. and Ida Bradbury Cousens.

She had an unyielding faith in the love, grace, and forgiveness of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mary was a talented artist who excelled in oil painting, she was a professional cake decorator, enjoyed knitting, garment making and was a fantastic cook. Her family will miss her delicious apple pies.

Surviving are two sons, Paul M. (Martha) Bramhall of Homer and Charles J. Bramhall of Lebanon, ME; her brother, Charles (Barbara) Cousens of Delevan, WI; and a sister, Eleanor Nason of Kennebunk, ME; two grandchildren, Jessica (Kyle) Austin of Norfolk, VA and Jason (Marita) Bramhall of Johnson City and four  great-grandchildren, Luther, Carolyn and Percival Austin and Sylvia Bramhall.

Mary was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Paul J. Bramhall in 2001.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2023 at the Calvary Baptist Church, 6753 State Route 281, Preble. The family will receive friends and relatives at the church on Monday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment in Glenwood cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
