Jeffrey A. Stout

Jeffrey A. Stout, 41, of N. Fulton St., Homer, died on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from injuries sustained in a work-related accident.

A lifelong area resident, Jeff was born October 4, 1978. He was the son of Donald W. and Debra I. Harter Stout and was a 1996 graduate of Homer Central High School.  

Jeff was employed as a traffic foreman with Suit Kote, where he had worked since 2006.

He was a hard worker, and put the love of his family and children above all else.

Jeff is survived by his father, Donald W. Stout of Morrisville, NC; his step-father, Richard Breidinger of Homer; his girlfriend, Rachel Parker of Homer; his two loving daughters, Jade and Kylie Stout; and a step-son, Cayleb Leonard. Also surviving is his grandmother, Edith Harter of Homer; a sister, Rachael Stout (Chad Thornton) of Homer; brother, Jason (Shannon) Stout of Cortland; a nephew, Tydyn Thornton; two nieces, Olivia and Emma Stout as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jeff was predeceased by his mother, Debra I. Harter Breidinger in 2009.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2019 at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home, 5016 US Route 11, Homer.

A Celebration of Life for Jeff will follow the memorial service at the Homer American Legion, 63 S. Main St., Homer beginning at Noon.

A trust for Jeff’s children is being established and memorial contributions may be directed to Rachael Stout, 35 Prospect St., Homer, NY 13077.
