Herman Cortez

Herman Cortez, 72, of North St., McGraw, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born August 1, 1948 in New York City, a son of the late Santiago and Francis Cortez.

Herman worked as a homecare delivery driver for the Cortland Regional Medical Center.

Surviving is his wife, Marjorie Gower Cortez; three children, Paul Cortez of Cortland; Shaun (Amy) Cortez of McGraw and Kara (Ben) Hapgood of Homer; a sister, Sandra (John) O’Connor of Connecticut; two brothers, Santiago and Eddie Cortez of Utah; his grandchildren, Luke (Sara) Cortez; Moriah (Jason) Cortez; Kayla (Bradley) Cortez; Treagan Cortez; Brenton Hapgood; Jaiden Cortez; Hannah Cortez; Kiara Hapgood; Destiny Cortez and Kayleb Cortez as well as a great grandson; Kye Cortez.

Memorial services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
