Edward C. Telling, Jr., 73, of Cortland, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 following a period of declining health.
Edward was born May 9, 1947 in Mount Vernon, NY, a son of the late Edward C. and Irma Allardt Telling.
He is a graduate of the Cornell University Busines School with an MBA degree.
He was the founder of the Telling Group, Ltd. In addition to the MBA, he held CBC and CBI business certifications. He was a fellow of the M&A Source and the IBBA.
He was a devoted Yudansha in Koei-Kan Karate.
Surviving is his wife, Kathleen Patterson Telling; his son, Edward C. Telling, III and his wife, Qitong Cheng; his brother, Frederick Telling and his wife, Barbara Clark of Port Orange, FL and a niece, Jennifer Telling of Atlanta, GA.
Due to COVID there will be no services at this time.
Memorial contributions in Mr. Telling’s name may be directed to Upstate Cancer Center Adult Hematology/Oncology Department or the Cortland YMCA, 22 Tompkins Street.
