Edith F. Harter

Edith F. Harter, 87, of Prospect St., Homer, passed away on March 12, 2022.

A lifelong area resident, she was born July 21, 1934, a daughter of the late Bennie and Ruth Stevens Seager.

Edith had been employed for 25 years at the Homer IGA and for 25 years at H&R Block.

Grandma, as she was affectionately known by many people, devoted her life to her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great mother.

Surviving are her children, Mike Harter; Robert ‘Buddy’ (Linda) Harter and Sherry Burns of Homer; and Connie (Russell) Vinnedge of Preble; as well as several grandchildren; great grandchildren and her beloved fur baby, Maddy.

Edith was predeceased by her husband, Robert G. Harter in 2003; her daughter, Debbie Breidinger; three grandchildren, Cathy Burns, Jeffrey Stout and Sara Helms and her brother, Dean Stevens.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
