E. Robert "Bob" Bennett

E. Robert “Bob” Bennett, 88, passed away peacefully at his home in Homer on November 5, 2024.

Bob graduated from Homer High School, class of 1954 and graduated from SUNY Cobleskill in 1956. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1958.

He was employed for more than 50 years at Arnold’s Florist in Homer.

Bob was a member of the Homer United Methodist Church.

He is survived by a sister, Rosalie (David) Phillips of Sempronius; his lifelong friend, Michael Fitzgerald of Watertown and eight nieces and nephews, Christopher Thomas; Martin Thomas; Cynthia Underwood; Kathryn Dillion; Aaron Phillips; Jamie Phillips; Jason Phillips and Michelle Phillips. 

In keeping with Bob’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
