Dale R. Breed

Dale R. Breed, 60, of Route 281, Preble, died unexpectedly on July 6, 2020.

A lifelong area resident, he was born June 16, 1960, a son of the late Bonita Downes and Leon Breed, Sr.

Dale had been employed as a farm hand and was a foreman at a lumber yard. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and refinishing and selling antiques.

Dale was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his wife, Loresea L. Breed; his children, Mandy Breed (Larry Eaton) of Cortland; Stacy Breed of Lafayette; Jennifer (Derrick) Cole of Preble; Dale (Ronda) Breed, Jr. of Cuyler; Alexis Breed, Dawson Cook, Brandon Cook and Mackenzie Cook, all of Preble; his brother, Leon (Diane) Breed of DeRuyter and 18 grandchildren, Kirsten, Logan, Kaylee and Lillie Barber; Conner and Meara McCormick; Brookelynn, Shyanne, Addison and Caleb Marshall; Karisa, April, Dale III, Nevaeh and Robert Breed and Owen, Scarlett and Journey Cole.

A celebration of life for Dale will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Dwyer Memorial Park, 6799 Little York Lake Rd, Preble, NY 13141. Please respect all social distancing restrictions in place and masks are required.
