Codee Grant Obituary

Codee M. Grant came into this world on February 13, 1995 and departed on April 24, 2023, peacefully in his sleep. Much to his mother Victoria Stephens-Grant’s sadness and dismay, he left his brothers Tyler Stephens-Grant (Jessica & nephew baby James) and Anthony “Twan” Thornton to take care of their beloved Mother.

His father Dann Grant and (Jennifer Price- Grant) traveled long distances through pouring rain, wind, and hail with a broken tow hitch to secure Codee’s weapons, gather his collection of knives, and hack into his computer and phone.

His Grampa (Roger Watson) has resigned to the fact there will always be two dogs in his house, and one will inevitably take over his recliner as her favorite resting place, leaving him forever covered in Codee’s best girl’s (Oakley “Oaks” Grant) fur, only to finally realize he does, in fact, need a fence.

The Green Bay Packers will never be the same after the loss of their biggest fan; or Aaron Rodgers. The world may never know which loss will have the greatest impact.

His best “girl” friend Jackie has been left to roam her dark house afraid, with no one to snap with, no one to eat her chicken riggies, shot gun a beer, and with the loss of Codee’s Coffee Mania points, she must now buy her own coffee.

His golfing buddies “Flohr,” “D,” “Calale,” “lil Clippy,” and “Bell” have been wandering around the golf course, looking to the sky, with no direction on how to play, which club to use, and who is driving the cart.

His Great Grandmother (Florence “lil Gram” Earley) his Gramma (Terry Stephens) who may or may not have gotten out of that little box, and his Grandparents (Dann and Midge Grant) all welcomed him at heaven’s gate with open arms and love. Codee met them with his brightest, genuine smile, and explained:

I taught them all I know, I loved them with the might, power, and strength of Thor’s hammer, I extended my hand in friendship and kindness and left a lasting, positive impact on everyone I met. I gave them advice, and wisdom to carry with them wherever they may roam, and enough strength to carry them through their darkest days. They will be sad, they will grieve, and I will dry their tears with a soft summer breeze and the warmth of the sun. I have known pure unconditional love, from my Ohana. My family and friends have not been left behind, I will walk beside them, they will hear my laughter, my sarcasm, and my witty one-liners and know I am always with them.
