Cathleen Ann Wilson

Cathleen Ann Wilson, 66, of Homer, passed away on April 13, 2026, following a courageous battle with ALS.​

Cathy was born August 2, 1959 in Kingston, the fourth of five children born to the late Robert and Virginia Tuthill Donovan. 

​She retired after 14 years at the New York State D.O.T in Cortland and was the office secretary at St. Margaret’s Church in Homer for eleven years. 

Cathy was a longtime and faithful communicant of St. Margaret’s Church; where she was a catechist, a member of the choir, and organized church events including the annual turkey dinner and CROP walk for several years.  She loved bird watching, gardening, solving puzzles, participating in fantasy sports, crafting and family holidays. She also enjoyed connecting with friends near and far.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Bruce A. Wilson; her children, Ryan P. Wilson of Woodstock and Heather A. (Adam) Weiner of Stamford, CT; her siblings, Robert (June) Donovan of Huntington; Arlene “Cookie” (Gerald) Davis of West Shokan; Michael (Kathy) Donovan of Manville, NJ and Timothy (Barbara) Donovan of Maryville, TN; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at St. Margaret’s Church, 14 Copeland Ave., Homer.

Callings hours will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home, 5016 U.S. Route 11, Homer.

A celebration of Cathy’s life is being planned for a future date in the Catskills area.
