Bruce A. Craft, 75, for formerly of 13 Leon Ave., Cortland, passed away unexpectedly on September 7, 2021 in the Cortland Regional Nursing Facility, where he had been a resident since March of 2020.
A lifelong area resident, Bruce was born May 16, 1946 the oldest child of Hugh and Pauline Darling Craft.
He retired in 2008 from ACS as a dishwasher at SUNY Cortland, a position he had held since he was senior in high school, for a total of 43 years.
Bruce loved horses, collecting horse figurines and statues and country music. His family meant everything to him and he loved spending time with them, especially his Sunday morning breakfast’s.
Surviving are his two sisters, Lillian (Robert) Parker of Homer and Charlotte Craft of Cortland; sister-in-law, Lynda Craft of Homer; a niece, Danielle (James) Pfrehm of Homer; nephews, Brian Craft of Cortland; Ian Craft of Hermitage, TN and Shawn Craft of Cortland and a great-nephew, Westin Pfrehm.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, David Craft in 2008.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021 in Glenwood Cemetery, Homer.
