Betty Marie Holland Glover

Betty M. Glover, 71, of Cortland, passed away on December 28, 2024.

A lifelong area resident, Betty was born August 14, 1953, a daughter of the late Alton and Ruth Hamblin Holland.

She was employed for 30 years with the SUNY Cortland Campus Auxiliary Services.

Betty enjoyed picnics and holiday gatherings with family, playing BINGO, going to yard sales, and loved to go to the dances at the Country Music Park. She looked forward to her water exercise classes at the Cortland YWCA and the bus trips with the Senior Citizens.

Surviving is her sister, Nancy L. Winnie of East Homer; a niece, Crystol (Jeremy) Benedict; nephew, Stanley (Cadee) Winnie; two great nieces, Sabrina Benedict and Danica Winnie and a great nephew, Dominic Winnie.

She was predeceased by her brother, Larry Holland and her sister, Linda Holland.

There will be no services at this time. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Preble will be delayed until spring.
