Angela E. Gustafson, of Clinton St., Homer, passed away on May 16, 2021 following a courageous battle with ocular melanoma at the age of 42.
A lifelong area resident, Angela was born October 29, 1978, the daughter of Daniel Gustafson and Diane Riehlman.
She was a graduate of SUNY Cortland, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics.
Angela had most recently been employed by the Tompkins County Department of Social Services.
Surviving are her children, Lilly (Skyler) Lyons; Gavin Beyea and Ewan and Lonan Middleton; her mother, Diane (Derek) Seager; father, Daniel (Kathy) Gustafson; two grandchildren, Orrin and Sylvie Lyons; her siblings, Andrew (Tayrn) Seager and Caleb and Eliot Gustafson; her grandmother, Nancy Gustafson and several loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life for Angela will be held at 2:00 p.m. on June 6, 2021 at Dwyer Memorial Park, 6799 Little York Lake Rd., Preble.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Angela’s memory may be directed to the Lime Hollow Nature Center, 338 McLean Road, Cortland NY 13045 or to the Aid to the Victims of Violence, c/o Cortland YMCA, 14 Clayton Ave., Cortland, NY 13045.
