Marlenna D. (Dimorier) Stiles

Marlenna D. Stiles, formerly of 47 Miller St., Cortland, died peacefully on January 5, 2018 in Cortland Park Nursing and Rehabilitation following a period of declining health.

A lifelong area resident, she was born in Cortland on October 7, 1937, a daughter of the late Franklin and Elsie Hogan Dimorier.

She retired in 1999 after 30 years of service with the New York State Department of Labor.

Marlenna was a faithful member of the former Calvary Episcopal Church, Homer and a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church, Moravia.

Surviving are her three children, Melenda ‘Mandy’ (Michael) Berry of Homer; Lori Conklin of Palmyra and David (Irene) Barber of Seneca Falls; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Duane A. Stiles in 2004; two brothers, Frank and Larry Dimorier and her sister, Patricia Ardis.

In keeping with Marlenna’s wishes, funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
