Larry E. Thorington

Larry E. Thorington, 76, died on Sunday, January 14, 2018 while under the care of his loving family.

A lifelong area resident, Larry was born May 26, 1941, a son of the late Alfred and Velma Soules Thorington.

He was most recently employed as a driver for Allied Van Lines.

Larry is survived by his three children, Sarah L. (Demont) Lang of Virgil; Christine N. (Lon) Burhans of Moravia and Timothy M. Thorington of Cortland; six grandchildren, Zach (Jonelle), Pressley, Jaimee (Jon), Mackenzie, Ashley and Preston; three great grandchildren, Kinsley, Jillian and Jeremiah. Also surviving are his three sisters, Betsy Brewer, Loretta Taylor and Sharon (Ted) Strauf as well several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Alice Thorington in 2015.

Graveside services will be held in Atwater Cemetery, Homer, when weather permits.
