Dear Stuart, Linda, Deb, Doug, and families! I'm so sorry to hear of Gerald's passing! He was such a wonderful, kindhearted, and giving man! I can't tell you all the wonderful lessons and opportunities this man and your whole family helped me achieve! This man will always have a special place in my heart, just as I know he has in yours! Hold on to all the good memories you have and know he is always there with you!

Linda, Stuart, Debbie and Doug - I will always have very fond memories of your dad's friendship, support, and plain old helpfulness during my 5 years in East Homer. He could always be relied upon, with a wonderful combination of strength and gentleness. And there were also the occasional chess games (we were pretty evenly matched), an enjoyment of the birds we spotted together, and numerous other random moments that we shared. And I still remember that bucket-load of "soil" he brought for our flower garden out front - boy, did those flowers take off!

I know the memories that you all have will continue to bless you, even as you now mourn his loss. I wish you and yours all the best -
