William J. Wright, Jr.

William J. Wright, Jr., 43, of Cortland, died unexpectedly on March 14, 2023.

A lifelong area resident, Will was born September 23, 1979, the son of William Wright, Sr. and Karen A. Conklin Wright.

He was currently employed as the shop foreman at Jax Service Center & Dealership in Cortland and had previously worked at several local area garages.

Family was important to Will as were his love of music, his dogs, his motorcycle and Dodge trucks.

Surviving is his wife, Tracy Adams Wright; his children, Elizabeth Wright; Russell Wood; Justin Sallis and Charles Adams-Cox; his father, William Wright, Sr., his mother, Karen Wright; siblings, April (James) Maricle; Chad (Misty) Wright; Chasity Wright; Brandon Wright; Naomi Wright and Lacey Tucker. Also surviving are several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home, 5016 US Route 11, Homer.
