Robin Marie Thornton

Robin M. Thornton, 63, of Homer, passed away following a brief illness on June 14, 2026.

A lifelong area resident, Robin was born October 12, 1962, a daughter of the late David and Josephine Storey Albro.

She had been employed for many years by ASC at SUNY Cortland.

Robin enjoyed doing crafts and long walks on the beach, but it was family, especially her grandchildren, that brought her ​greatest joy.

Surviving are her two daughters, Janelle (Todd) Talada and Jenna (Chris) Jenkins; a step-son, Robert Marks; her grandchildren, Makayla Marks-Olmstead; Zachary Marks; Bryanna Talada; Andrew Marks and Emily Marks; a great grandson, Jaxson Bartos; and a second great grandchild on the way..

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two grandchildren, Jaydenn Marks and Caitlin Marks.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026 in Scott Union Cemetery, State Route 41, Scott

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home, 5016 U.S. Route 11, Homer.
