Patricia L. (Nadge) Storrs

Patricia L. Storrs, a resident of the Elizabeth Brewster House in Homer, passed away on March 7, 2024 at the age of 85.

She was born October 11, 1938, a daughter of the late John and Carlene Addy Nadge.

Pat had worked as the bookkeeper at the Elizabeth Brewster House for several years, retiring in 2013. She also had been employed over the years at the Cortland YWCA, Cortland Glass Co. and VEC Arab in Illinois and Alabama.

Pat loved her large and extended family. She is survived by her children, Mark (Sandy) Fredenburg of Belvidere IL, Julie Fredenburg of Mahomet, IL and Jennifer Jennings of Hamilton, NY; her siblings, James Nadge of Homer; Richard (Deb) Nadge of Homer; Robert Nadge of Homer; David Nadge of Prescott, AZ;       Douglas (Deb) Nadge of Syracuse; Melanie (Scott) Cook of Homer and Mary Brewer of Homer. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jacqueline Meacham (John Tripp); Rebecca Fredenburg; Hannah Jennings (Spence Hartnett); Laura Nearing; Madeline (Will) Lamont and Samuel Nearing; a great-granddaughter, Eliza Meacham and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, Donald E. Storrs in 2003; a son, Eric Fredenburg in 2007; brother, John Nadge in 2017 and a sister, Beverly Shutts in 2018.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024 at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home, 5016 US Route 11, Homer. To stream Pat's services, visit her obituary at www.DonaldLBarberFuneralHome.com and select live stream.  Interment will follow in Atwater Cemetery, Homer.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Pat's family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff and residents of the Elizabeth Brewster House for creating such a wonderful home for Pat in her final years. The family would also like to thank the staff at Crown Park Care Center for the compassionate care provided to Pat and the support for the family during Pat's final days.
