Lawrence G. Golden, Sr., 63, of Tully, passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2024.

A lifelong area resident, he was born March 17, 1961, a son of the late Robert and Arlene Compton Golden.

Larry was most recently the groundskeeper at the Tully Trailer Park, although spent the majority of his life working on local dairy farms. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed tinkering; taking things apart and putting them back together, often with more parts when he was done than when he started.

Surviving are his children, Lawrence Golden, Jr. of Gouverneur; Ronnie (Amber) Golden of Canton; Kimberly Golden of Lisbon; Kristy Clukey (Cody DeRock) of Otisco and Brian (Carly) Clukey of Truxton. Also surviving are his siblings, Jeffrey (Jeannette) Golden of Homer; Jonathon (DeeDee) Golden of Cuyler; Nancy Ward of Alabama; and Kathy (David) Bush of Delphi Falls as well as several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Lawrence was predeceased by his siblings, Kenneth Golden, Thomas Golden, Russell Golden, Steven Golden, Bonnie Bates and Bernard Golden.

A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Venture Farms, 6978 Route 80, Tully, NY.
