Joan M. Cincotta

Joan M. Cincotta, 84, a resident of Ellis Pines, Homer, passed away unexpectedly on May 28, 2021.

Joan was born November 29, 1936 in Eaton, NY. She graduated from Morrisville College with a degree in nursing and worked as a nurse for several years.

For 25 years, Joan and her husband, Angelo, owned and operated Sheepskin Leather Shop.

Surviving are her three sons, Anthony (Barbara) Cincotta of Cortland; Michael Cincotta of Truxton and Richard (Sandy) Cincotta of Homer; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers, Joseph (Lou) Lyman; Ron (Betty) Lyman and Carl (Connie) Lyman; her sister-in-law, Kathy Moore; brother-in-law, Robert Cincotta and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Joan was predeceased by husband, Angelo “Ang” Cincotta in 2006 as well as her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Dale Green.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 4, 2021 at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home, 5016 US Route 11, Homer, NY.

Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
