Charlotte A. Morgan, 84, of Steger Rd., Preble, passed away peacefully, while under the care of her loving family on April 10, 2020.
A lifelong area resident, she was born August 18, 1935 in Groton, a daughter of the late Alton and Geraldine Holmes Metcalf.
For 32 years, Charlotte was employed in the restaurant business, both at Denny’s Mountain View and at Song Mountain.
She was a member of the Preble Congregational Church and was a life member of the Preble Fire Department Auxiliary. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing BINGO and especially loved spending time with her large, extended family.
Charlotte is survived by her children, Rosemarie (Eric) Wright of Liverpool; Edwin Morgan (Jonelle Potter) of Groton; John (Cindy) Morgan of Preble and Dennis (Tracey) Morgan of Homer; three sister, Jean Conklin; Evelyn Greenway and Shirley Metcalf; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Howard ‘Jack’ Morgan; two sons, Dale and Steven Morgan; her siblings, Gloria Brown, Phillip ‘Windy’ Metcalf, Esther ‘Ikie’ Brown and Richard ‘Dutch’ Metcalf.
Due to the current restrictions in place for the COVID-19, services for Charlotte will be held at a later date.
