Carol Anne Jones

Carol Anne Jones (Hulslander), 72, born March 5, 1954, of Homer, New York and Port Richey, Florida, passed away peacefully at home in the early morning of June 17, 2026, in the arms of her loving daughter, Amie Underwood.

Carol’s final moments were filled with the love and light of those closest to her. She was surrounded by her granddaughters, Taylor True and Madison Underwood; her sister, Sandy Kurtz; her son-in-law, Judd Underwood; and her beloved “best bud” of more than 50 years, Sharan Clark.

Carol will be remembered for the love she shared, the friendships she cherished, and the lasting impact she had on the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. A retired CNA, she dedicated years of her life to caring for others with compassion and kindness. An incredible homesteader, she found great joy in gardening, creating arts and crafts, and making a home filled with warmth and laughter. She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds, chipmunks, and squirrels that visited her yard each day. Her beloved dachshunds were constant companions and brought her endless happiness throughout the years. She was always up for an adventure, embracing life with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a spirit that inspired those around her. Her kindness and unwavering devotion to family and friends created bonds that will remain long after her passing.

Carol would also want those who knew and loved her to remember her special word, “believe.” It was a word that held deep meaning for her and reflected the hope, comfort, and positivity she carried throughout her life. She encourages family and friends to listen to the song “Angels Among Us” by Alabama to reflect on the comfort, love, and guidance it brought her throughout her life.

In keeping with Carol’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, where family and friends can gather to share memories, laughter, and the love that Carol brought into the world.

As we remember Carol, we hold close a saying that reflected the way she lived her life: “The way to a friend’s house is never long.”

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
