Obituary
Carlo J. Fittanto, 81, of Homer, passed away following an extended illness on May 29, 2022 in Crown Park Nursing Center.
Carlo was born January 26, 1941 in the Bronx, a son of the late Eugene and Margaret Mastrangelo Fittanto.
Mr. Fittanto retired in 1979 after 20 years of service as a New York City police officer primarily serving in the borough of the Bronx.
He enjoyed playing cards and loved to collect and watch classic movies.
Surviving is his wife of 59 years, Patricia Gisondo Fittanto; two sons, Carlo (Traci) Fittanto of Southbury, CT and Vincent Fittanto of Tallahassee, FL; as well as four grandchildren, Laurell, Patricia, Vincent and Michael Fittanto.
In keeping with Mr. Fittanto’s wishes, all services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
