Isabel Viola Webb

Isabel Viola Webb passed away on Sunday June 30.

She was born to Andrew and Ida Belle Crumb on February 21, 1926 in Deposit, NY. She was a proud graduate of the Marathon class of 1943.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Lynn Webb; brothers Thurston, Paul, Ken and Phillip; and a son-in-law, Paul Whiteman

Isabel and Lynn devoted their lifetimes to raising seven children who they were extremely proud of, Lynn (Linda) Webb of Virginia; Cheryl Whiteman of Washington; Cynthia (Robert) Haynes of New Hampshire; Robert (Mary Ann) Webb of Otisco; William (Mary Beth) Webb of North Carolina; Karen (Christopher) White of Preble and Richard (Debra) Webb of Tully. She also leaves behind her brother, David (Sue) Crumb of Florida; 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Eunice Crumb of Florida and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Isabel lived most of her life in Preble. She was a member of the Preble Congregational Church. She will be remembered for her quick wit, twinkling blue eyes, and as an unselfish, beautiful, loving person, who always put others before herself. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening; especially flowers, needlework, cooking amazing meals, reunions, solving all types of puzzles, and she was an avid reader to the very end of her life.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at the Preble Congregational Church, 1953 Preble Rd., Preble.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the church on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral.
