Thomas E. Conrad

Thomas E. Conrad, of Chase Rd., Fabius, died on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in the Crown Center for Nursing following a lengthy illness, at the age of 60.

A longtime area resident, Tom was born August 16, 1955 in Amsterdam, NY, the son of Dewitt and Laura Wrobel Conrad.

He graduated from Fort Plain High School, class of 1973. He received his A.A.S. in Computer Science from SUNY Cobleskill and his B.A. in Business Management from Hartwick College.

Tom had been employed with Pall Trinity Micro for 27 years as their IT Director, retiring due to his declining health.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, and trap and skeet shooting. Tom was also involved for many years in area bowling and golf leagues.

Surviving is his loving wife of 37 years, Barbara A. Conrad; two daughters, Kylene and Kelly Conrad; a grandson, Charlie; his mother, Laura Conrad Ciani; and two brothers, Dennis and Wayne Conrad, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In keeping with Tom’s wishes, services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
