Robert Nathan Park, 65, Homer, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 7, 2017.

Known by most as Nate, he was born January 12, 1952 in Syracuse, a son of the late Everett and Wilma Bardwell Park.

Nate owned and operated R.N. Park Erectors for more than 25 years and had also been employed with Raulli & Sons Ironworks, Syracuse.

He enjoyed metal forging, wood working, working on cars, being on the boat and fishing but above all else, Nate truly loved his family.

He is survived by his best friend and wife Doreen Goldbach Park; his children Christopher N. Park of Buffalo; Cara L. Park of Tully; Stephen M. Park of San Francisco, CA; Michael E. Park of Cortland; Laird R. (Kalee) Updyke of Cortland and Katrina L. Updyke of Fairport; his siblings, Jeff (Janet) Park of Otisco, NY and Jayne (David) Baritell of Otisco. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Jack, Mya and Leah Updyke and Kayla and Colin Abendschein.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Gene Park.

In keeping with Nate’s wishes, services will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
