Michael "Rick" David Hollenbeck

Michael “Rick” David Hollenbeck of Cortland passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017 in the Cortland Regional Medical Center at the age of 60 surrounded by his family and friends.

A lifelong resident of the Cortland and Homer area he was born January 3, 1957 a son of the late Bernard and Marguerite Ellis Hollenbeck.

Rick is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen (D’Ambrosio) Hollenbeck; daughter, Melissa (Jeramy) Gratton; a son, Brian (Tisha) Hollenbeck; daughters, Naomi (Jason) Hollenbeck and Michele (Nick) Rodgers; his grandchildren MacKenzie, Bethanie, Morgan, Cooper, Kyler, Demeree, Rogan, Colin and Carter. Also surviving is a sister, Dolores Stillman and a brother, Douglas “Dougie” Hollenbeck; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a long list of close friends, four dogs a cat and a rabbit.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Tony and Duane and a sister, Sally Hawks.

A celebration of Rick's life will be announced at a later date.
