Eileen M. Fezza

Eileen M. Fezza, 74, of Sunset Ave., Cortland, passed away on January 9, 2017 in the Cortland Regional Medical Center.

A longtime area resident, she was born December 21, 1942 in Brooklyn NY.

She retired, after many years of employment, from Dowzer Electric, Cortland.

Eileen was a loving mother to her children, Joseph Fezza (Brittany Clark) of Cortland; Kenny Fezza of Peekskill; Lisa Marie Fezza (Bill Smith) of Cortland and Melanie Fezza of Peekskill; her longtime companion, Johnny Chiominto, ten grandchildren, Doreen Crocamo, Anthony Powierski, Sean Masi, Alec Barber, Andrew Barber, Gianna Fezza Anneliese Fezza, Dante Fezza, Brittany Fezza and Bianca Fezza, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and her sweet dogs, Toby and Bae Bae

She was predeceased by her husband, Alfonse “Sonny” Fezza; a daughter, Josephine Masi and two sons, Michael and Marc Fezza.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 4 - 5 p.m. at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home, 5016 North Main St., Homer. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Homer when weather permits.

A celebration of Eileen’s life will also be held on Monday from 5-7 p.m. at The Stone Lounge, 128 Main St., Cortland.
