Betty V. Parker

Betty V. Parker, 92, formerly of 60 N. West St., Homer, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 in St. Joseph Nursing Facility, Elmira.

She was born June 3, 1925 in Lisle, a daughter of the late Roy and Gladys Shaw Lamb.

Betty had been a saleswoman for Avon Products for 43 years.

She had been a longtime and faithful member of Bible Baptist Church, Cortland.

Surviving are her children, Kathleen S. (David) Reppert of Lafayette, IN; Kevin L. (Sandy) Parker of Salisbury, NC and Dr. Keith W. (Robin) Parker of Elmira; her sister, Gertrude Rozelle of Whitney Point; seven grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Betty was predeceased by her husband, Lynn W. Parker in 2009; two brothers, Albert and Robert Lamb and a sister, Ruth Lamb.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home, 5016 US Route 11, Homer. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery, Homer, will be delayed until spring.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers at the St. Joseph Skilled Nursing for their superb care and loving kindness.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the services.
