Thomas James Livingston

Thomas J. Livingston, 69, of Clinton St., Homer, passed away following a valiant battle with cancer on Tuesday, December 12, 2017.

A lifelong area resident, he was born April 18, 1948, a son of the late John H. and Elizabeth Bement Livingston.

Tom was the owner and operator of Cruising Design Inc. (CDI) in Homer. He was also the former owner of the Montgomery Ward catalog store in Cortland.

Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Karen Johnson Livingston; daughter, Robin M. Livingston of Steamboat Springs, CO; his son, Joseph T. (Karen) Livingston of Camillus. Also surviving are a sister, Karen Hall of Cortland; brother, John Livingston, III of Bremerton, WA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home, 5016 US Route 11, Homer.

A time of remembrance and sharing will follow at 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Livingston’s name may be directed to Hospice, 11 Kennedy Parkway, Cortland, NY 13045 or to the Cortland SPCA, 879 McLean Rd., Cortland, NY 13045.
