Sherry E. Brown

Sherry E. Brown of Haights Gulf Rd., Cortland, passed away following a lengthy illness on Monday, June 5, 2017 at the age of 57.

A lifelong area resident, Sherry was born April 19, 1960 a daughter of Frederick and Nancy Miller Brown.

She had most recently been employed as a cleaner with TST BOCES in Ithaca.

Surviving is her mother, Nancy Miller of Cortland; her longtime partner, Jim Keib; two daughters, Shannon (Nick) Lyon Tinelli of Solon; and Shawna (Jeffrey) Lyon Hendrix of Vernon, FL; five grandchildren; three brothers, Rick, Ronnie and Jamie Brown, all of Cortland; special friends, Chuck and Chloe Davis of Copenhagen, several nieces, nephews, cousins and her faithful canine companion, Jake.

She was predeceased by her father, Frederick Brown.

In keeping with Sherry’s wishes, services will be at the convenience of the family.
